TN 11th result 2019: 95% pass, Erode district is top performer in Tamil Nadu Board Class 11 exam

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu on Wednesday declared the results of Tamil Nadu board Class 11 examinations.

A total of 8,06,799 students registered from schools and Private this year out of which 8,01,772 appeared from schools.

Out of the school candidates, 3,66,596 were boys and 4,35,176 were girls.

The pass percentage among school candidates was 95%, which was 3.7% higher by than last years’ pass percentage of 91.3%. The pass percentage of boys was 93.3%, whereas that of girls’ was 96.5%.

The pass percentage was 93.91% for science stream students, 97.40% for commerce stream, 95.12% for arts stream and 92.34% for commerce stream students.

Erode district topped the state with a pass percentage of 98.03% followed by Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts at 97.93% and 97.67% respectively.
