Haveri is the assembly constituency which comes under the Haveri district. It is one of the 224 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Constituencies. Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 for Haveri will be held on May 10 and the result was declared on May 13.
In 2018, the Haveri assembly seat had 2,16,952 registered voters, 1,12,543 were male and 1,04,402 were female voters. 0.9% of voters opted for the None of the Above (NOTA) option.
In the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Election 2018, Haveri constituency had 12 candidates for assembly seat contention. Haveri was one of 104 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Neharu Olekar won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Rudrappa Lamani by a margin of 11,304 votes.
The top two candidates split 96.0% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Neharu Olekar got a total of 86,565 votes, while Indian National Congress's Rudrappa Lamani secured 75,261 votes. Janata Dal (Secular)'s candidate Sanjay Dange secured 3,099 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 51.4%, 44.7% and 1.8% respectively.
In Karnataka Assembly election 2013, Indian National Congress's Rudrappa Manappa Lamani beat Karnataka Jantha Paksha's Neharu Olekara by 30,208 votes.
