The teaser of Emraan Hashmi's upcoming project, Ground Zero, was released on Friday, offering a glimpse into the film's narrative. Inspired by real-life events, the film is set against the backdrop of Kashmir, where Emraan's character is seen embarking on a mission to restore peace to the valley while navigating the complex web of conflicts along the way. Emraan Hashmi marches into action as a soldier in Ground Zero
The teaser kicks off with a warning from someone associated with the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed about the "freedom of Kashmir” in 2001. The scene then shifts to an attack on Indian soldiers, revealing that "70 soldiers were gunned down".
As the teaser unfolds, Emraan makes a dramatic entrance, portraying the role of BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, a real-life hero. He is seen spearheading an operation to track down and neutralise the enemy, setting the stage for an action-packed narrative. He is also seen giving a pep talk to his fellow soldiers, “Ab Prahaar Hoga (Now, there will be a counter-attack)”
The teaser ends with Emraan's character asking, "Sirf Kashmir ki zameen humaari hai ya yahan ke log bhi? ("Is it just the land of Kashmir that belongs to us, or do its people also belong to us?)"

Narendra Nath Dubey led the operation in which the terrorist mastermind Ghazi Baba was killed. He was honoured with the Kirti Chakra in 2005. The teaser of the film is also attached to Salman Khan’s Sikandar. The film also stars Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in key roles. It is set to release in theatres on April 25.
An Excel Entertainment Production, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is directed by Tejas Deoskar. It is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy.
