My first workout: Two decades ago.

I started exercising after watching: Sylvester Stallone starrer Rocky.

The body part I love training: Movement with my own body weight like executing pull-ups with a varying grip involving my back and biceps. Also push-ups with multiple variations of it designed to maximise my core strength.

My views on steroid use: I have strong views against substance usage and abuse. It’s bad for kidney and central neuro system.

If I don’t workout I feel: Incomplete and inadequate.

When I workout, I feel: High! It makes me feel positive about circumstances and helps in dealing with life’s ups and downs.

I love to eat: I have a sweet tooth and I gorge into lots of chocolates. I just love them. I have a liking for coffee too. I stay away from alcohol and cigarettes, as I am a tee-totaller. I am a vegetarian.

The Bollywood body I envy the most: Akshay Kumar’s. For the strength and flexibility it has.

The best compliment I have got: That I have a sculpt body, which reminds them of a Michelangelo’s (an italian painter) painting.

My latest fitness trend: Breathing deep, and thereby managing stress levels.

Advice for girls aspiring to have a fit body: Believe in yourself and keep at it.
