Kapil Sharma can be serious too: adopts a retired police dog
Comedy Nights With Kapil host Kapil Sharma has added an abandoned dog to his family. The 30-year-old comic adopted a retired Labrador named Zanjeer and put up a picture of him and the dog on Twitter for his followers.

The dog, who earlier served Mumbai Police, will now be in the comfort of the comedian's care.
Sharma put up a picture of him and the dog on Twitter for his followers.
"My new family member.. Zanjeer.. he served as a cop in Mumbai police. Respect. Will let you know about him later," Kapil tweeted.
Kapil adopted this dog from the animal welfare community, 'Animals Matter To Me (Mumbai)', and they seemed really impressed with Kapil for endorsing their objective. They took to Facebook to share their gratitude.
"Zanjeer has found a fantastic home to spend the rest of his time with and is spending his time amongst the celebrities now. We can't thank you enough Kapil and Preeti for adopting him and hope that you continue to fight for the well being of our animal friends," they posted.
