Czech Republic opens visa application centre in Gurgaon
The embassy of the Czech Republic opened a visa application centre at the ILD Trade Centre in Sector 47
In a move that will ease the visa application process for NCR residents visiting the Czech Republic, the embassy of the Czech Republic opened a visa application centre at the ILD Trade Centre in Sector 47 on Wednesday.

The development takes place less than a month after visa application centres were opened by the embassy in Chandigarh and Jalandhar.
“The Gurgaon centre marks the launch of another important location within Delhi and NCR where people can submit their Schengen visa applications for travel to the Czech Republic via VFS Global. We thus continue to deliver on our promises. This is not the end of our endeavours as we will soon announce the opening of additional Czech visa applications centres in the market,” said Milan Hovorka, ambassador of the Czech Republic to India.
VFS Global is a outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.
With the centre, Gurgaon residents will no longer need to go to New Delhi to get a travel visa.
“I have visited Prague (capital of Czech Republic) twice since watching its beautiful landmarks in the movie Rockstar. I remember the numerous visits to the embassy in Chanakyapuri in New Delhi, which involved two hours of hectic travelling. A centre within Gurgaon will be convenient,” said Aniket Singh of DLF 5.
