Laptop stolen from parked car on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road

According to the police, the thieves smashed the rear window of the car, which was parked outside the Central Plaza on Golf Course Road, and fled with the laptop bag kept on the rear seat of the car on February 28. A case was registered at the Sector 53 police station on Friday, March 8.

According to the police, the thieves smashed the rear window of the car, which was parked outside the Central Plaza on Golf Course Road, and fled with the laptop bag kept on the rear seat of the car on February 28. A case was registered at the Sector 53 police station on Friday, March 8.

Abhay Kumar, a resident of Sector 4, said, “I had parked my car on the main road, where others had parked their cars as well. I went inside the mall around 2:15 pm. When I returned after 20 minutes, I found the glass of the rear left window of my Swift car broken. The bag, which contained my laptop, was missing. I called police control room, after which a team from the concerned police station came to the spot and took pictures,” said Kumar.

Shamsher Singh, assistant commissioner of police (crime), said, “Earlier, there used to be five laptops thefts reported every week from across the city. We are working with some clues and we are close to busting the gang.”

On February 15, two similar incidents were reported from DLF-1 and DLF-3.
