Actor Dane DeHaan has been roped in to play the role of late Hollywood great James Dean in this film. The story is based on the friendship that photographer Dennis Stock struck with Dean while on an assignment to shoot the star in the 1950s. The movie is directed by Anton Corbjin.
2 The Walk

Actor: Joseph Gordon Levitt
Tentative release date: October 2, 2015
American actor Joseph Gordon Levitt will be seen playing the role of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit in this upcoming film. The story focuses on Petit’s illegal wire walk between the twin towers of the World Trade Center in 1974 with the help of some recruits. It has been directed by filmmaker Robert Zemeckis.

Veteran actor Meryl Streep will be playing the role of British political activist Emmeline Pankhurst in this film that focuses on the British women’s suffrage movement of the late 19th century and early 20th century. The flick is being helmed by filmmaker Sarah Gavron.
4 In The Heart Of The Sea
Based on: Sinking of the whale ship Essex

Tentative release date: December 11, 2015
Actor Chris Hemsworth will be seen in the role of first mate Owen Chase in this film. The movie is based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s book by the same name. The story, set in 1820, focuses on the sinking of whale ship Essex by a sperm whale, which results in its crew being stranded for 90 days. It has been directed by filmmaker Ron Howard.
5 I Saw The Light

Actor: Tom Hiddleston
Tentative release date: November 2015
Actor Tom Hiddleston, of The Avengers fame, will be seen portraying the role of American country singer Hank Williams in the upcoming movie, I Saw The Light. The movie will see the life of the singer, who after his meteoric rise to fame in the 1940s and 50s, struggled with alcohol and drug abuse in the later part of his brief career. Filmmaker Marc Abraham is directing it.
