First Fantastic Beasts images are a magical return to Harry Potter

The first look of the upcoming prequel of the superhit franchise Harry Potter, Fanstastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, was revealed to the world on the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s November issue on Wednesday. The cover features Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne as great magizoologist Newt Scamander.

He is dressed in a teal overcoat with a briefcase in one hand and a wand (yes, how good does it feel to see one again) in another.

In the background, we see him standing inside the entrance of the Magical Congress of the United States of America (or MACUSA), the American counterpart of the Ministry of Magic inside the Woolworth Building, reported Entertainment Weekly. Newt will be seen going on an adventure in 1926 New York.

Other cast members include Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell and Samantha Morton.

The movie will come out five years after the last Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2, which released in 2011. The entire franchise is still the highest grossing movie franchise of all time.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled for a November 18, 2016 release.
