First look of Bridget Jones’ Baby: Renee’s ‘wanton sex goddess’ is back

Entertainment Weekly revealed the first look of Renne Zellweger-Colin Firth-Patrick Dempsey film. Bad news: High Grant’s notorious flirt Daniel Cleaver is out. Renee reprises her role as Bridget Jones -- our favourite wanton sex goddess. The happily ever after we all presumed she was headed for when Edge of Reason finished somehow didn’t happen. She is still single and still in a soup.

Speaking about the new film to Entertainment Weekly, Zellweger said, “This is part of the new challenge, discovering where she is now in her new life. But as an actress, it feels like stepping back with an old friend. I love this character, I like that she tells stories about what it’s like to be a woman and these really relatable situations at certain times in life. It’s so right to tell a story about Bridget in this stage of her life.”
