Actress Penelope Cruz is reportedly set toplay the Bond girl in the next edition of ‘James Bond’ franchise. The actress, whois expecting her secondchild with actor husband Javier Bardem, will start shooting for the movie after she turns 40 in April, 2014, reports thesun.co.uk.

Actress Penelope Cruz is reportedly set toplay the Bond girl in the next edition of ‘James Bond’ franchise. The actress, whois expecting her second child with actor husband Javier Bardem, will start shooting for the movie after she turns 40 in April, 2014, reports thesun.co.uk.
Cruz will also be the oldest actress and the first Spanish to play the character. Honor blackman, was 39 when she starred as Pussy Galore in 1962 release “Goldfinger”.
“Bond girls are always brainy and sexy, and that’s totally Penelope,” a source said. Actress Naomie Harris played Bond girl in the recent James Bond movie “Skyfall”.
As of now, Daniel Craig is set to reprise his iconic role in the upcoming movie.
