The official social media handle of Baby Shark shared the teaser with the caption, “Baby Shark Boy: A Comeback After 10 Years,” describing his journey from a supporting role in the children’s video to taking the lead with his own music.
“Ten years ago I was dancing next to Baby Shark. Now, I wanted to share my own voice and a story I wrote myself,” Park said in a statement.
Park was seven when he appeared in the 2016 Baby Shark Dance video, which went on to become a global phenomenon, crossing 17 billion views on YouTube and spending more than 69 consecutive months at the platform’s global No. 1 spot.
