Arvind Kejriwal Arrest Live: The Additional Solicitor General (ASG) said in Rouse Avenue Court that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is seeking a 10-day remand for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

He said that Kejriwal has undergone medical examinations twice, and his relatives have been informed about the situation. Grounds of arrest were provided to Kejriwal in writing, complying with Section 19(1) of the PMLA, and the remand application has been served to the opposing party, ASG argued in the court.

Additionally, Kejriwal was presented before the Magistrate within 24 hours, fulfilling the provisions of Section 19 of the PMLA concerning the power to arrest, he added.

Arvind Kejriwal Arrest Live: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was produced in Rouse Avenue trial court after withdrawing his plea against arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in the excise policy-linked money laundering case. His counsel said that he would challenge the remand proceedings in the trial court and then file a new petition in the Supreme Court.
