Bihar Floor Test Highlights: The floor test of the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Bihar concluded on Monday with Kumar securing 130 votes in favour. Before motion for trust vote was introduced, Bihar chief Nitish Kumar speaking in the assembly alleged that the RJD indulged in corrupt practices during its rule in the state, and the new NDA-led government will initiate a probe into it.

Kumar, participating in the confidence motion moved by his JD(U) in the state assembly, also claimed that several communal riots occurred in Bihar during RJD's tenure. "There was no law and order. The RJD indulged in corrupt practices during its rule (before 2005)... I will get these probed,” he said.

All attention is focused on the Bihar floor test scheduled for Monday (February 12), where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar must demonstrate his majority following his departure from the ‘Mahagathbandhan’, an alliance comprising the RJD, Congress, and Left parties.
