Most probably I would be a businessman. No, I would not go back to making PVC. (Laughs.) I would do something different.
Which foreign leaders do you admire?
I don’t tell anything.

Clarity. Hard work. Making only a 0.0001% compromise on ideology.
What will you do when you retire?
I will write about religious matters.
What is your first memory?
My mother only. My mother was a staunch Gandhian, a follower of his values. She did prarthana and was a strict vegetarian. She didn’t spin but – see – I am wearing khadi pants! My mother gave me guidance and was a big influence on me. She passed away in 2010. I still feel her presence every second of my life. My mother, she gave me sanskar.
What books are you reading?
The Gita. I read about Indian history.
What movies do you watch?
The last one I watched was TE3N with Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan. Before that, Baby.
What music do you listen to?
Indian classical.
Are you religious?
I have been a very religious person since childhood. I do astrological study. I don’t need to go to an astrologer because I know astrology myself and I believe in it.
Which society would you like to be reborn in?
Bharat mein, only in India.
When were you happiest?
Every day I am happy.
What is your favourite food?
Banana. But I can’t eat it, because I have diabetes.
