Judge who sentenced Asaram to life till death transferred
The judge in the Asaram rape case, Madhu Sudan Sharma ,was transferred as joint secretary (law) in the law and legal affairs department in Jaipur.
Madhu Sudan Sharma, the judge of the special SC/ST cases court in Jodhpur metropolitan, was transferred on Wednesday evening. He has been posted as joint secretary (law) in the law and legal affairs department, Jaipur.

Judge Sharma delivered the verdict in the Asaram rape case on April 25, sentencing the rapist to life in jail until his death.
The Rajasthan High court had earlier directed the special SC/ST court to pronounce its verdict on the jail premises owing to security concerns.
The registrar general of Rajasthan high court, in two separate orders, transferred five judicial officers in the district judge cadre and nine other judicial officers, on Wednesday.
Prabu Lal Ameta has been appointed member (judicial) in the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal, Jaipur. Rajesh Narayan Sharma has been appointed judge of the industrial tribunal-cum-labour court, Jodhpur.
Ashutosh Kumar, who was secretary (law) in the law and legal affairs department in Jaipur, has been posted as district and sessions judge of Jaisalmer. Sanjay Kumar has replaced him in the law department.
