Complaints were made by university authorities over allegations of question papers having been leaked, following which some policemen posing as aspirants got in touch with some varsity students suspected to be involved in the racket, Circle Officer Rahul Srivastava said.

This morning, the policemen were asked by the students to come at their lodge and collect in return for money copies of question paper for hindi, the test for which was scheduled in the afternoon.

A police party raided the lodge and caught 15 students and seized copies of the question paper from them, Srivastava said.

However, the entrance test was held as per schedule and a decision regarding cancelling the same and holding re-examinations will be taken only after examining the evidence gathered by police, Chief Public Information Officer of the university, Amarendra Singh said.
