Ansari expresses concern at frequent disruptions in Parliament

Expressing concern at the frequent disruptions during Parliament sessions, Vice President M Hamid Ansari today said it was with the elected representatives to find a solution "soon or later" in the matter.

Expressing concern at the frequent disruptions during Parliament sessions, Vice President M Hamid Ansari today said it was with the elected representatives to find a solution "soon or later" in the matter.

"It is a matter to be discussed in Parliament. I am sure the collective wisdom of elected representatives will find a solution soon or later," he said while interacting with students of B S Abdur Rahman university near Chennai.

Ansari, also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, said frequent disruptions in the Parliament were taking a lot of time and described it as a "matter of considerable concern."

To a query on India's future in the field of power generation, he placed high priority for the need to augment country's nuclear power production saying European countries like France met a bulk of their power needs from nuclear energy.
