City Youth Congress takes out rally

THE CITY Youth Congress took out a rally from Gandhi Bhawan Congress office to Ganhdi statue to mark the 121st foundation day of Congress recently.

THE CITY Youth Congress took out a rally from Gandhi Bhawan Congress office to Ganhdi statue to mark the 121st foundation day of Congress recently.

Youth Congress City president Devendra Singh Yadav and secretary Shahzad Chauhan led the rally. The rally ended at the Gandhi statue, where a public meet was held.

All the party activists wore white clothes. Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress president Shobha Ojha said that the Congress activists must not let communal feelings creep into the party. Devendra Singh asked the party workers to work towards establishing Congress rule in the State.

Kripa Shankar Shukla, Ashwin Joshi, Bhallu Yadav, Tulsi Silawat, K K Mishra, Suresh Minda, Sanjay Garg and others participated in the meet. Youth Congress City vice-president Ashfaq Gauri conducted the programme.

Meanwhile State Mahila Congress president Shobha Ojha said, “The Seva Dal is a selfless organisation. It has been working for the welfare of the people. The public is not satisfied with the BJP rule.” She said this at a programme during the Seva Dal foundation week celebrations in Simrol recently.

Indore City Seva Dal president Omkar Yadav said Congress activists work for the weaker sections of society and make them aware of the government policies.

Gulab Rajaura, Scindia Fans Club state president Paramjeet Singh Chawla, Sewadal state trainer Prahlad Mahawar, M P Nasha Virodhi Prakoshth state president Prakash Koli and others also spoke on the occasion.

Dilip Verma, Mahesh Patidar and Kamlesh Rathore welcomed the guests. Indore District Congress Seva Dal chief organiser Dinesh Salwadia conducted the programme, while Lekhraj Patidar proposed the vote of thanks.
