Congmen attacked by BJP MLA and supporters

BJP MLA Narendra Singh Kushwah and his supporters attack the three Congressmen while they were distributing relief to people affected by heavy rains in Bhind.

Three Congress activists were injured in an attack allegedly by local BJP MLA Narendra Singh Kushwah and his supporters while distributing food and medicine to the people affected by heavy rains.

The incident took place when Congress activists including its Pradesh Spokesman Rakesh Singh were briefing the District Magistrate Suhail Ali Khan on the situation, the police said.

Kuashwah and his supporters came on the scene and started pelting stones and attacked Congressmen, who were providing relief and food to the rain affected people in various areas of the city.

The Congress spokesman said that the attack took place at a time when district magistrate was talking to them on the overall development and the situation in the areas.

Superintendent of Police Niranjan Vyangadkar told PTI the inured have been admitted to hospital adding that cases against both the parties would be initiated soon.
