Congress dharna against SP ?misrule?

CONGRESS ACTIVISTS staged a demonstration at the district headquarters here in protest against Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav?s ?misrule? in the State. Addressing the gathering at the dharna site, district Congress president Amar Nath Mishra said the CM?s socialism was a flop show in the State because of his anti-people policies.

Addressing the gathering at the dharna site, district Congress president Amar Nath Mishra said the CM’s socialism was a flop show in the State because of his anti-people policies.

UPCCI member Shiv Baran Yadav highlighted the exploitation of people belonging to Nawabganj area, who he said, were suffering because of the area MLA’s ignorance and immaturity. He warned that the party would launch an agitation if police atrocities and extortion of money for making ration cards did not stop.


Mahesh Tripathi flayed the Samajwadi Party government for its failure in checking the rising crime graph in the State. Another senior leader Harikesh Tripathi, said the party would launch an agitation in Jhusi on August 20 to protest strong arm tactics of SP hooligans in the area. Mukund Tiwari called upon party workers to give a befitting reply to the Samajwadi Party in coming election.

Prominent among those who participated in the dharna included Kandrap Narayan Mishra, Deena Nath Mishra, Shaym Shankar Shukla, MP Maurya, Brijendra Mishra and Ram Janat Yadav.
