Does a Laughing Buddha bring good luck?
Also let me know where should the Laughing Buddha be kept ...Post your query
Q: I have heard that placing a Laughing Buddha in the house brings good luck. I have also heard that it should not be bought. Someone should gift it to you. How true is this? Also, let me know where should the Laughing Buddha be kept? Should it be worshipped?

A: Laughing Buddha is known as Hotei among the Chinese and is considered very auspicious. It is usually placed facing the door. His large protruding belly is symbolic of happiness, luck and prosperity. It is believed that if a person rubs his belly it brings good luck.
Often, one single feng shui coin is placed below the statue. There are many instances of good things happening to the people who bring Laughing Buddha home.
It is not necessary to get it as a gift. You can buy it also. In fact, Laughing Buddha blended with the Lord Ganesha is considered doubly lucky. It is available for sale on http://www.fengshuimiracle.com.
Q: Our son does not want to talk to us at all and does not want to keep any relation with us. He is married and listens to his wife and in-laws. We are really hurt very badly about this. We started a business for him and since the last 6 months he has stopped going to the factory and does not want to take any care. Please tell me what we can do to get him back.

A: In this case, one needs to take a look at Southwest, East and West parts of your house to determine where the actual problem lies. It is only after locating the flaws that one can suggest remedies. For this, only the dates of birth will not be enough and one needs to look at the floor plan of your house also. This can only be a professional consultation. You can write to me at md@mohandeep.com for further details.

A: Wall is symbolic of a block. Working while facing a wall may delay the career growth and cause health problems as has been repeatedly seen in the call centers. Also, it can cause your colleagues and subordinate to betray you and partners to cheat you. You are advised to place a mirror in front of you.
