Five killed in accident in Bahraich

Five persons were killed and six others injured when their jeep was hit by a truck in Ayani village in Bahraich, about 125 kms from Lucknow, on Friday morning, police said.

Five persons were killed and six others injured when their jeep was hit by a truck in Ayani village in Bahraich, about 125 kms from Lucknow, on Friday morning, police said.

Hakimuddin (35), Mohd Hanif (40), Shakir Ali (38), Chotkau (45) and an unidentified man were killed when a truck in a bid to overtake hit their vehicle.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said.
