I am planning to go to Malshej Ghat and Bhandardara (Maharashtra) during the monsoons. How do you get to Bhandardara from Malshej Ghat—can you specify the distance between these two places,the route to take and the time it will take?

You can reach Bhandardara from Malshej Ghat in 3-4 hours. The route you need to follow is Otur-Brahmanwada-Akole-Rajur. The roads are generally good but some potholes might appear during the monsoon. It is a very scenic route. Wait for a good spell of rains as the waterfalls will then be in full flow.
