The deceased identified as Tarun Munshi, a resident of five-storeyed Shetu Windsor building, had gone to the terrace and leapt from there, police said adding that he was declared dead before admission at GT hospital.

According to the Marine Drive police, Munshi, who resided on fourth floor of the building, told his wife in the morning that he was going to office, which was located on the fifth floor of the same building.

“Instead of going to his office, he had gone to the terrace and jumped from there. As per his wife’s statement, he was depressed. Depression could be one of the reasons,” police sub inspector Sudhir Garud told PTI.
