India should develop capabilities to exploit space for military applications to meet the challenges thrown up by changing geo-political situation, Union Minister of State for Defence MM Pallam Raju on Thursday said.
Raju said that the Indian Air Force should be transformed into an 'aerospace power' for this purpose.
"Although India has expressed its opinion against the weaponisation of space, going by the changing geo-political situation, it would be foolish if we do not build capabilities," he said.
