It is a 'political conspiracy', says sacked NCW member

"It is a political conspiracy against me," Vankatesh told reporters in Bangalore.

Women and Child Development Minister Renuka Chowdhury had sacked Vankatesh on Friday for allegedly failing to conduct an unbiased enquiry into the attacks on women at a Mangalore pub Jan 24 by the activists of a fringe rightwing Hindu group, Sri Ram Sene.
