Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday said that his government would create l2.35 lakh jobs in the IT sector in next three years.

"Within two years the Congress government could provide 65,000 jobs in IT sector and in remaining three years additional l2.35 lakh jobs would be created," Reddy said after laying foundation stone for an IT park at Kesarapalli village, about 15 km from Vijayawada, said.

He alleged that the earlier TDP government could provide only 65,000 jobs in IT sector during its ten-year rule.

Reddy added that under the Congress rule IT would not be Hyderabad-centric. "Instead it would be taken to towns like Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam".
