If you are one of those, who love treading down the memory lane by flipping through their wedding album, here’s a platform where you can do more with those pictures. Upload one of your wedding photo at millionweddingpics.com — the new website launched by matrimonial portal BharatMatrimony.com, and get a chance to be a part of a world record.
The online matchmaking site essentially aims to etch a place in the Guinness World Record by putting together one million wedding photos on the new website in two months by April 14, and subsequently create the world’s largest wedding photo album. You can even scan your non-digital photos and upload them.
While the participation is free and open to all married couples, it was one of India’s most ideal couple, former cricketer Kapil Dev and wife Romi, who were the first couple to upload their wedding photo on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14). “Marriage is a memorable occasion and what better way to rekindle that moment than sharing it with a million Indians,” said Kapil Dev. “This is also an effort to get all Indians to participate in something together,” said Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, BharatMatrimony.com.
