In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Madhya Pradesh Government has transferred ten senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers appointing Rajan S Katoch as the new Principal Secretary (PS), official sources said on Tuesday.
Rakesh Bansal, who was posted as Chairman of the Revenue Board, Gwalior, has been posted as Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education at Bhopal replacing Dilip Mehra.
Mehra has been posted in place of Bansal at Gwalior while Rajan S Katoch has been posted as the new PS Home, Parliamentary Affairs and Jail Department, they said.
M K Rai, PS Backward Class and Minority Welfare has been posted as Chairman of the Professional Examination Board.
O P Rawat, PS SC/ST Welfare Department has been posted as Vice Chairman of Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA), while R Parshuram on his return, from deputation of Centre has been posted as Development Commissioner and officiating PS Panchayat and Rural Development Department replacing I S Dani, they said.
Dani has been posted as PS, Farmers Welfare, Agriculture Development and Cooperatives replacing Pravesh Sharma, who has been posted as PS Backward Class and Minorities Welfare Department.
