Road mishap kills 19 near Godhara
At least 19 people were killed and 20 others injured in a major road mishap near Godhara, Gujarat late Thursday night.

At least 19 people were killed and 20 others injured in a major road mishap near Godhara, Gujarat late Thursday night.
The mishap happened when a truck and a tractor, in which the victims were traveling collided head-on on the road.
According to Godhara police, 19 people were killed on the spot, those injured have been admitted to a local hospital where the condition of some of the injured are said to be serious.
Most of the victims were devotees and were on the tractor en route to their native village when the mishap took place.
Meanwhile, chief minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the mishap and announced Rs one lakh compensation each to the family of those who died and free medical treatment to the injured.
