Sri Lankan team arrives in Chennai

Sri Lankan coach Tom Moody said the team will be going for practice at Chepauk Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

The 23-member Sri Lankan team, led by Marvan Atapattu, arrived here on Tuesday from Bangalore, three days ahead of their first cricket Test match against India starting on December two.

The Sri Lankan coach, Tom Moody, declined to talk to the press at the airport on arrival. However, he said the team will be going for practice at Chepauk Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Besides Chennai, the islanders will be playing Test matches in Delhi and Kanpur.
