Woman running beauty parlor raped

The police on Friday arrested two people in connection with a rape case. The accused have been identified as Pardeep Kumar and Nisha. They have been sent to judicial custody, the police have said.

The accused have been identified as Pardeep Kumar and Nisha. They have been sent to judicial custody, the police have said.

In her complaint, a 25-year-old victim who runs a beauty parlour here, said Kumar raped her on Wednesday when she went to Nisha's home in relation to work. The accused beat up the victim and threatened her not to reveal the incident to anyone. The police registered the complaint on Thursday.

The victim alleged that the accused were forcing her to run a prostitution business in the garb of a beauty parlour. The police have booked the accused under Sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
