SUV hits school bus in Indore, driver flees

A school mini-bus overturned in Pidgambar area on Friday morning. However, none of the 25 schoolchildren who were in the bus, were seriously injured in the accident.

According to information, an SUV which was without a number, hit the bus from the rear because of which the driver lost control. The driver of the SUV escaped with his vehicle after the incident.

Enraged residents of the area staged a chakka jam and alleged that the authorities are not taking action to curb accidents on the road.

According to the police, the bus of La Sagesse School (MP09-AF2901) was hit by an SUV because of which it overturned. Residents of the area rescued the children and sent them to a hospital. Police said nobody was seriously injured in the incident.

Police have launched a hunt for the SUV and the driver.
