Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday after photographs of him touching his mother’s feet were widely published in the media and called it “a tamasha” (drama).

“What a tamasha!! I take blessings from my mother everyday while going for campaign. She is never out of my sight while I’m at home and I don’t deliberately keep her hundreds of miles away. It’s just that I don’t try to make it a ‘Media Event’, he tweeted.
While polling was held for all 26 constituencies in Gujarat, five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar - Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Khagaria and Jhanjharpur - went to polls in the third phase of general elections on Tuesday.
Tejashwi, who cobble together and Opposition alliance in Bihar to take on the NDA, has lately been hobbled by a family feud with this elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav put up his own candidates in two Lok Sabha seats.
He has also been at pains to explain there is no rift the grand alliance after questions were raised over his absence from Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s rallies in Bihar.
