Thundershowers drenched large parts of the state with Fatehgarh and Hamirpur each receiving 3 cm of rains, the meteorological department said.

Aligarh and Agra each recorded 2 cm of rain.

Hailstorms were reported from some parts of the state.

Streets wore a deserted look in state capital Lucknow due to rains.

Etawah was the coldest region in the state recording a low of 4.1 degrees Celsius, the weather office said forecasting more showers.
