2 weeks before start of monsoon, BMC comes up with ₹18.2-crore plan to repair 19 roads in Mumbai
The proposal includes repairs on Senapati Bapat Marg, Govindrao Patwardhan Cross Road, Kala Killa road, Khanolkar Marg and KL Desai Marg

With just two weeks to go for the monsoon to hit the city, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) plans to table in the standing committee on Friday a proposal to repair 19 minor roads in Dadar, Elphinstone and Parel at a cost of Rs18.20 crore.
The proposal includes asphalt work on roads such as Senapati Bapat Marg, Govindrao Patwardhan Cross Road, Kala Killa road, Khanolkar Marg and KL Desai Marg among others.
Civic officials from the roads department of BMC said even if the proposal is being processed now, the work will be undertaken after the monsoon.
The BMC undertook repairs of 931 roads, of which 300 roads are yet to be completed. These include arterial roads such as VN Purav Marg and Goregaon-Mulund link road.
