The anti-narcotics cell (ANC) of the Mumbai police crime branch arrested a 25-year-old man on Wednesday night for peddling 370 grams of meow meow or mephedrone (MD) worth Rs7.4 lakh in Kandivli. The police also recovered cash worth Rs7.92 lakh from him.

The police registered a case under section 8(c) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 22 and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Gupta will be produced before a magistrate court on Thursday.
