The accused, Swati Shinde,52, was caught accepting Rs5,000 bribe.

According to ACB sources, the complainant in the case lost a case of house break-in at Sewri court.

“Shinde initially demanded a bribe of Rs15,000, which was lowered to Rs5,000 for appealing in higher court,” said an ACB officer.
