“We are expecting the list to be out by midnight. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to the students,” BB Chavan, deputy director of education, Mumbai region, said earlier on Monday.

The delay is on account of a new agency, Nysa, handling the portal this year.

More than 2.4 lakh students had applied for FYJC seats this year. “This is the first time the new agency is looking after the website, so the process is taking longer,” said Chavan.
