"From our face you can make out that Bal Thackeray's health is improving. His pulse rate, heart rate and blood pressure is also improving. Divine power and everybody's prayers is with him. Shiv Sainiks are his tonic and he will come back again to greet them. Doctors are monitoring his health continuously," Raut told reporters in Mumbai outside 'Matoshree', Thackeray's residence in suburban Bandra.

Shiv Sainiks continue to be outside Thackeray's residence where there is huge security and media presence. The 86-year-old leader was taken off life support system on Thursday after he showed some signs of improvement.

Ever since Thackeray's condition deteriorated, his son and Sena executive president Uddhav stepped out for the second time last night to talk about his father's health.
