The BJP has also decided to launch protest across the state for the next two days.

“The price hike will lead to an additional burden of Rs 1,000 a month, for every family. This government can’t forget its responsibility towards the common man,” Munde said.

Munde, along with city BJP President Gopal Shetty, and President of the BJP’s women cell, Smriti Irani, led a morcha towards Mantralaya.

The leaders were arrested and subsequently released on bail.

“The anti-people policies of the UPA government are responsible for rising inflation,” Munde said. Munde said that BJP workers will organise protests outside government offices in all talukas of the state to protest the price hike.
