Rajwardhan Sinha, additional commissioner of police, EOW, stated this on Friday.

Last week, the HC had directed the agency to file an additional affidavit stating whether or not it would file an FIR against Bhujbal.

Sunil Karve, founder trustee and vice-chairman of MET, had moved the court alleging that that the minister and his family had embezzled trust funds and property worth Rs. 195 crore.

Subsequently, Sinha filed an affidavit saying the dispute was between the trustees and the case had been forwarded to the charity commissioner.
