Thackeray said at a public rally in Nashik on Saturday that it was time Hazare protested against alleged corruption of deputy chief minister Pawar and public works minister Bhujbal.

“My party will support Hazare if he exposes these two leaders in several corruption cases. I request Hazare to quit Lokpal bill because our own state has so much corruption.”

Both Pawar and Bhujbal were unavailable for comment Hazare’s associates said that he was busy and would not be able to comment.

Nashik is one of Bhujbal’s political strongholds.

Bhujbal’s nephew Samir is the Nashik Member of Parliament while Pawar and his son Pankaj represent two constituencies in the same district.
