The HT bus tours, organised on Saturday and Sunday, were open to Hindustan Times readers seeking affordable homes beyond Thane. Participants were taken to numerous under-construction projects, where they toured sites and interacted with builders. Parab, who has booked a flat in the Nirmal Riverside luxury housing project, said, “I am grateful to Hindustan Times for organising this excursion.”

Two tours are being held on Sunday to Dombivili, Ambernath, Neral and Shil Junction, with flat prices starting at Rs18 lakh and Rs30 lakh. “Talking to the builders gave me a better idea of what the market has to offer,” said Vishal Deshmukh, assistant manager with a private firm. Pushpa Kunwar, a homemaker, said, “The tour helped me scope out options.”
