The victim, Mamata Jha, jumped to death as she suspected her husband Mukesh (40), a singer at a night club, had extra marital affairs, they said.

Mamata, who is survived by her husband and son Sanket (15), rushed out of her flat on the 19th floor of Crimson Tower and jumped out from the staircase window. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.

“A suicide note recovered from Jha’s residence mentioned that Mamta was upset as her husband had extra marital affairs. The couple often had arguments in this regard,” a police official said.
