Badshah has no problem downloading free music

Composer-rapper Badshah is okay with the public downloading music for free and feels that it is the easiest way to get access to music.

While most musicians are unhappy with the illegal download of music, rapper -composer Badshah believes there is no “better” alternative than downloading music for free.

Rapper Badshah says he has no problems when people download music for free.

Popular for releasing singles such as Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai, DJ Waley Babu and more recently Kala Chashma, Badshah believes that in the current day and age, illegal downloads are the easiest way to access music.

“Downloading a song for free is the easiest way to get all kinds of music. Everything else is tough and I am sure, even if people wanted to buy music, they won’t be able to because they will not understand the way to buy music online. It is a very complicated process,” he says.

“I mean even I don’t know how to buy music online. I go on a music- streaming site or an online music store, there are so many steps you have to go through, before you get to download the song. Then, if I have made my account, then I forget my password daily . Why would someone want to go through such a tiring process?” he adds.

The rapper who is currently touring with actors Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and filmmaker Karan Johar in the US as a part of Dream Team tour has no problems when people download his music for free. “ I want my fans to listen to my music. Period. How they download it and listen to it is something that bothers me. I just want them to listen to my music and enjoy it,” he adds.
