The music of Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam, starring son Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, is being finalised by Pritam and Irshad.

The music of Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut, Mausam, starring son Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, is being finalised. It will have three tracks with Bhangra beats.

Shahid tweeted, “Last week before I leave for Punjab to shoot three songs. Pritam and Irshad have worked on them. They really are a great combination.”

The actor admits that he’s a huge fan of Punjabi flavoured Bollywood music. Mauja hi mauja... from Jab We Met was a chartbuster and Shahid is hoping that Pritam will recreate the same magic for his dad and him. He’s looking forward to dancing in Punjab’s sarson ka khets.
