A case was registered against the accused under Section 363 (kidnapping) of IPC.

Tronica police arrested Aakash on February 27 for abducting the son of his female friend who had turned down his marriage proposal many times, SHO Tronica city, Babar Raza Zaidi said.

He said that the residents of Pooja colony noticed the accused taking away the little boy in the absence of his mother.

On finding her child missing, the mother approached the police and a case was registered against the accused under Section 363 (kidnapping) of IPC , police said.

A raid was conducted at the house of Aakash at Mittal Colony here and the child was found, they added.
