Noida to release new builder-buyer meeting schedule after two weeks
The Noida authority has been holding tripartite meetings with builders and homebuyers since April 10
The Noida authority said on Tuesday that it will release a new builder-buyer meeting schedule after two weeks. The first phase of meetings ends on June 21. The authority will now focus on ensuring that builders meet the promises they made to buyers in the meetings the authority has been holding since April 10.

“We will be completing 35 tripartite meetings in the first phase, including the one scheduled for June 21. Now, our focus will be to ensure compliance with the commitments made by the builders in these meetings,” said Santosh Kumar, officer on special duty, Noida authority.
According to the Noida authority, of the 35 projects discussed in the meetings, builders have submitted tower-wise completion schedules for 22. In these schedules, the builders have detailed by when they will deliver long-pending flats to buyers.
The Noida authority had started holding the tripartite meetings to seek solutions to the issues faced by homebuyers who have been suffering from various problems, especially non-delivery of flats and amenities.
“We will now look into the replies submitted by each builder and talk to the builder if he has failed to live up to the promises. We will do this over the next two weeks before releasing the new schedule for meetings,” said Kumar, who heads the group housing department.
The meeting scheduled for June 21 is to be held at Indira Gandhi Kendra in Sector 6 and will deal with the issues faced by buyers in the Grand Omaxe project in Sector 93B along the Noida Expressway.
However, homebuyers are not satisfied with the authority is dealing with the builders.
“These meetings have yielded nothing so far. Let’s see if they do so in the future,” said Vivek Sharma, a buyer.
Homebuyers said that the authority has not even taken action against builders who violated sanctioned layout building map.
“We have issued notices to 22 builders for unauthorised constructions in their respective housing projects. Top officials will take further action,” said a Noida authority official.
